The smell is in the air once again as one more Late August comes 'round, anticipation, high hopes, big dreams.
What is th accumalation of all this?
Only one thing, COLLEGE FOOTBALL.
Yep, time to gear up in front of the tube for some interesting Football games, not that boring preseason NFL Football. College football has been my saving grace these last few years, and it WILL be even better this year.
Even better when your team is the topped ranked Georgia Bulldogs. I have no care for OSU or USC, and who does? Again Not me.
The schedule may be long, arduous and hard, but it will be worth it as another amazing college football season starts once more.

Sorry about the shameless Big-10 bash, but these past couple of years I've seen OSU lose in the NC game while the Big-10 #2 was soundly beaten in the Rose Bowl by USC... maybe it's just the top teams in the Big-10 that have been rubbish... really, though, I hope that they all do well, except on Sept. 13th
Well I just didn't see what I expected last year, but then again I don't necessarily follow the Pac-10 much less USC.
And yea, that doesnt sound good for USC, no O-line nixes the run game and doesn't even give Sanchez a chance to stand up after a snap, much less perform. But the Defense is amazing and the tailbacks don't really get the credit they deserve imo.

From what I saw at fall practice, Sanchez is going to be an outstanding USC quarterback. I had my doubts after last year, but he's really taken his game to a whole new level - if his knee is truly healed, he should be able to do some spectacular things. The nice thing is, he doesn't really have to do anything special with our amazing tailbacks and rock-solid defense. IMO, the biggest question is our offensive line - maybe it was just our defense, but they were getting burned on most plays at the in-practice scrimmages. One series had 3 consecutive "sacks" (non-contact)

Go Blue! USC will be the ones to beat, with everything to lose. But still, TylerTrojan, rubbish Big Ten? OK, Ohio State is annoying, and don't deserve the National Championship as often as they get in, but still, rubbish? On second thought, you have a point- the Big Ten has sucked in Bowl Games the last through years!

USC Defense is spectacular, but Sanchez at QB?
That kinda is a turnoff imo

Nice - a Georgia fan to argue with - I knew there had to be some SEC folks in here! Anyways, I look forward to meeting the SEC Champ in the National Championship this year to end the rubbish Big-10's streak of sneaking in... Fight On!
